twenty | one | pilots. A fairly new band, this being their first full-length album. They are signed to the famous label, Fueled by Ramen. I was looking at their website, and reading their biography, and they said that their purpose for making music was “to make people think.” That’s exactly what happened in my case.
I first heard one of their songs, “Guns for Hands,” (off this album) on the radio, and I was enthralled by their electronic sound. It was fun, and I really enjoyed listening to it. So, I checked them out. I fell in love. Their music is not only catchy and upbeat, but their lyrics are profound, and that made me happiest of all.
My favorite songs from this album would probably be “Car Radio,” “The Run and Go,” “Fake It Out,” and, of course, “Guns for Hands.”
I really like this album a lot. I thought it was full of solid beats, as well as content that really does make people think.
